Sometimes you just have to let it fly and go with your gut. The development of their new Analog / Digital receiver came at a critical time for Modulation Sciences and provided such a scenario. It was in pre-production mode, and was that there was no actual product. It existed only as a blueprint lying on a table in the lab. The real challenge was the timing – we were running out of it. The advertising needed to coincide with the pending analog to digital transition for the Launch to succeed.
We started by creating the look for the new brand and gave their existing logo a much-needed facelift. Our strategy was to use print advertising in targeted publications and bypass the “dated” website by linking to a product specific landing page. Fortunately we were working with a wonderful Marketing Director who was experienced, collaborative and was fearless in moving the project forward.
A detailed rendering of the unit was created from the client’s schematics and we were in business. 75% of the first orders were placed before the first unit was even built.
This integrated approach proved so successful that the VP of Marketing decided to use it used to re-brand and promote MSI’s other suite of products.
