AJ Images strategy was simple; reach prospects by developing a series of large format postcards. The challenge was to find a fresh approach; to evolve from the usual and ordinary and hone a message that would resonate emotionally with their customers and position AJ images as different from their competition.
To paraphrase Harry Beckwith from his inspiring book “Selling The Invisible”, if you really want to know how you’re doing, ask your customers. We did just that. The VP of Marketing developed a survey to ask print -buyers how they felt about their experiences. The answers provided the insights we needed to develop a strong marketing concept. “We Know How You Feel” transformed the campaign into a fun series of postcards.
The promotion was capped off by creating a campaign-specific landing page that transitioned the look and feel of the print media providing prospects an interactive call to action.
